| HEROES is quite possibly the best show since... well... CSI:. Except it's better and if you haven't been watching it... you need to. Now. And just fyi: Hiro Nakamura is the best character on that show. He's just so kawaii -- 可愛い!!!!!!! (That's "cute" in Japanese, in case you were wondering...). He's got some great lines and facial expressions. Yay Hiro!!!!! ^_^
Anyway... This week is going to be crazy. Tomorrow is Halloween, and that's cool and everything. But at 4:00, I have to meet with my adviser to work out my schedule for next semester. [And I think that I have to take the "Advanced Conversation and Phonetics" French class. Yikes!!!!! I'm totally not ready for that at all... but I guess I need to take it before I go to France this summer.] Since I have to meet with my adviser at 4:00, I had to push back my tutoring session to 4:30 -- which means I only have an hour before the kids show up at the dorms for trick-or-treating at 5:30. Busy... busy... busy.
Then Wednesday is just as crazy. I have to give a brief oral report (in French) about Ludivine Sagnier -- she was Tinkerbell in the 2003 live-action Peter Pan movie; and for you French students, she was Catherine in 8 Femmes. Then after the rest of my classes, I have to go to my French professor's house at 4:30 to help prepare things for the Toussaint celebration later that night. Darn you, French Club. (Toussaint is "All Saint's Day").
Ok, now Thursday... laundry, classes, tutoring, then I have to go to dinner with my campaign group. That's not a bad thing, or anything. My favorite French professor is having us over for dinner and his wife is cooking for us. Did I mention she is the daughter of a French baker??? Ummm, yeah. I'm quite excited (really I am).
And Friday should be pretty mellow. Yay. I'm looking forward to it already. And yeah, that's pretty much it. I don't really update my xanga very often, but I'm feeling kind of random right now. ♥
| Wow - I haven't updated this thing in forever. My first year at Harding is almost over -- crazy, isn't it?? Only two more days of classes, then finals, then it's all over.
And you know what's really funny? Right now, I couldn't care less about the finals -- instead, I'm fretting over how I'm going to get all of my stuff out of my room and across town to the storage building. I think my priorities need to be straightened out a little.
Well, that's as much of an update as I'm going to write because I need to go eat dinner, then I'm off to French devo.

| Well I finally got a TV in my room - which was nice because I just felt like letting my brain rot out today (I'll gather it back up later to do the rest of my homework). And The Iron Giant was on. Have any of you seen it? If not, you should - it's a good movie and I watch every time it's on.
But let's see what else is new? Mission IMPROVable was last night and that was hysterical!! I love improv even if I could never do it. After that - I headed back to my room, did some reading, made a new wallpaper, then went off to bed.
Not going to write about my classes here - because either you know because I told you or you have a GJ/LJ and you can read on there. And if you reeeaaaally want to know - just ask.

| Because Katie requested it...
UPDATE!
the end. | | |
| Hmmm... well I'm actually back here again. I'm still at Harding - this means I haven't dropped out yet. But I must say that I'm loving this weather! At 68 degrees, it FINALLY feels like fall! Speaking of fall - does anyone care to tell me why some of my friends are getting an "October break"?? What's that about? I don't even think we're getting off for Columbus Day.
Let me think - what else is new? Well, I added a banner to my journal. Isn't it pretty? I made it myself... because I have too much free time and no life.
But I am going to the volleyball game tonight - at least until 8 because CSI is on tonight and this new season is too good to miss. And I finally got tickets for Beauty and the Beast - I decided to go on Friday because I prefer starting off the weekend with a bang - rather than toward the end. But maybe that's just me.
Ok - that's all I'm going to say for now. If you really want to read about me - check out my other journals - I like them better.
